Away Mission Update
Stardate: 400020.9 (Day 33 Afternoon): In a joint statement from Captains Bridger and Bendre the current status of the away missions to the planet of Aebrynnis have been released. From the initial Three teams, the Knight and Marine Station now have over half a dozen groups of Starfleet and Marine Personnel on the planet. Lieutenant Commander Cyn Stirling has returned to the Knight to oversee the work progressing on the Knight. She has been replaced, as leader of Team One by Captain Bridger who is currently meeting with the Adurian Council.
The investigation into the artificial nature of the moon continues under the supervision of Ensign Tobit Calsanni and Lieutenant Commander Naral. Little progress has been made in deciphering the written data that they have received.
Team Two, under Lieutenant James has found Lieutenant Poirot who is currently leading a large force of Elves and Marines. Lt. Poirot has had his eyes returned by Captain Bridger and now leads his force of Marines and Elves towards the Land Bridge. Sadly Ensign Mel Cordiero and Chief Warrant Officer 2nd Tamara Ingram died in battle against a group of Dark Elves.
Team Three is currently on route to the downed Klingon Cruiser that Ensign Koroth found and started repairing. Several Engineering crews are down at the cruiser trying to get it operational. Team Three will reach the cruiser before nightfall. Ensign Koroth has met with the Blue Council and with the aid of a horde of Blue Dragons and warriors to man them, has engaged a group of Red Dragons.
Lieutenant Commander Bherran, is still not back with Team Three. Since his capture, Sergeant Beckett and Linskin Dark, and Adurian have been sent to try and rescue him. If Successful, they should be arriving at the Cruiser within several days.
Other groups of Marines are at strategic positions around the planet trying to stop the dark forces that are sweeping across Aebrynnis. Chief Tactical Officer Tjorkil and his new wife Jannika Thaenjra are attempting to defeat the remaining Lost.
Lastly, I would like to point out that rumours of a Borg Little One being on board the Knight are true. At least in part. Several of the Little Ones have accessed the Ships Computers and read up about other species that Starfleet has encountered. It seems that there are now several Little Ones who think that they are Vulcan, Romulan, Cardassian, El Aurian, or Ferengi, as well as a Borg Little One and an Andorian Little One who has painted his body a Sky Blue colour and has stuck a couple of Articulator Rods on his head as "antennae". Suffice to say that the Borg Little One poses no threat to the Knight or her crew, and in fact is quite a commedian.

LCARS Update
Stardate: 400010.9: Another statement has been issued by the acting Chief of Operations, Ensign Brian Malheny regarding the upgrade of the LCARS system. Several key areas of the update have been reworked in an attempt to try and improve performance and reliability. This is the second major alteration since the upgrade to the new version on stardate 499100.2.
He goes on to say that with the crew that was in stasis out and back to work, the best test of the new upgrade found several key areas had major throughput and reliability problems. These have been worked on and are now even better than before.
Another member of the Operations department is quoted as saying that early last week the LCARS system was temporarily out of action due to the excess workload placed upon it. This was rectified within minutes and no further disruptions have been reported since then.

New Standing Security Order
Stardate 499040.7, USS Knight, Venn Sector: At 0755 this morning, a new standing order was released from the office of the Chief of Security, Lieutenant B'Elin James, affectionly known to her friends as Dusty. In it she announced the authorisation of special compensation to those members of the crew who contribute to the safety, welfare and security of the ship and it's population against intruders. Two types of commendations will be awarded to members of the crew who perform above and beyond the call of duty. The first, a Technical Commendation for the suggestions of technical or procedural improvements to the ship that will protect the security of the population. The other, a Service Commendation, is awarded to those who are able to find ways around the security systems and procedures currently active.
It has been rumoured that the idea has come from Captain Bridger, however he has not been seen arround for several weeks and speculation surrounds his current location. Either way, the new Security Standing Order should improve the security of this mighty vessel and give the families of the crew members more reassurance after the months of problems that have plagued the Knight.
With Captain Bridger's recent series of standing orders already instigated, and this new Standing Order, the next several months will be very interesting indeed.

A Starbase The New HQ?
Stardate: 499270.5, USS Knight, Venn Sector: Admiral M'Benga, Director of the Starfleet Intelligence Psychological Warfare division transfered to the new Marine Starbase recently in a move that will allow him to keep planning for the coming war with the Combine.
Several of his key staff are staying on board to, in the words of Admiral M'Benga, "assess the situation at close hand as well as provide vital information for [The Admiral] to use to plan the next phases of what is to come." One source close to me has indicated that Admiral M'Benga and Captain Bridger were not coping with each others' big egos and the split was inevitable.
The main staff members staying behind have been allowed to keep the use of the Admirality quarters and offices for their work. Commander Jacqueline Hennessey, the Knight's Chief JAG Officer and Chief Of Staff for the Admiral's Field team, has stayed onboard, as has Tactical officer Lt(jg) Jack Lawson and two other members of the team.
Which ever way you look at the situation, it seems that times are going to get worse for this little ship and the Federation.
