Psychological Profile:
Lt. Vega presents as a slightly shy but pleasant woman with confidence in her skills and abilities as an officer. Her Academy profile indicates that she is comfortable in a leadership role but respects the chain of command and her superior officers. She is very forthright and direct when spoken to, but has a great deal of patience with her fellow officers and friends. Lt. Vega makes friendships slowly but is extremely loyal to those she considers most important to her.
Of some concern is Lt. Vega’s propensity to overanalyze situations. She is efficient and reliable in both routine and unfamiliar environments and is decisive when it comes time to make important decisions, but mistakes and poor choices on her part are not forgotten or forgiven easily. Worth noting is the incident on the USS Einstein which led to the death of a fellow officer. At the time, Lt. Vega was recommended to attend counseling sessions and declined. Since then she seems to have recovered nicely on her own, but tends to be overly self-critical.
