Type in "Homo sapiens" then click "Go", and click on the name appeared, you will get the information page like this. From the "Entrez records" at the upper right corner table, choose the "Subtree links" of "Genome Sequences" then click on number "51". This will open "Entrez Genome" page of "search Genome for txid9606[Organism: exp]"

From the page appeared, choose "number 1: NC 001807 Homo sapiens mitochondrion; complete genome" and click on. The data in GenBank format will be loaded, change the data format to "fasta" and save to notepad in the name of "Mitochondrial DNA.txt".

Type in "Pan troglodytes" for chimpanzee then click "Go". Click on the name again, this will show the page like this. From "Entrez records" choose "Subtree links" of "Genome Sequences" then click on number "27"
