Religious Education for Children and Youth at the UUCNH
Join Our UU History
Costume Party, October 26

Our Religious Education Program for Children and Youth is focused on UU history.  Our children and youth are making timelines of their lives and our church history.  Our RE hallway is plastered with pictures and biographies of famous and important UUs.  Walk down the hallway and take in the interesting history.

On October 26, we will have a church-wide celebration.  Come dressed as your favorite Unitarian or Universalist.  Think of some appropriate props and let members guess who you are.  Our youngest children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes.

After the service, we will have a costume parade, enjoy a potluck lunch, and share games and activities for all ages.

For those of you at a loss, we will have some masks of Unitarians and Universalist to hand out.  You will have no excuses – you must join in the fun!

So remember, on October 26, bring a dish to share, wear a costume or bring a prop representing a famous Unitarian or Universalist, and be prepared to enjoy the day.

    Playgroup

Playgroup meets Tuesdays, “10:00ish to 11:30ish” in the East Room or on the playground in nice weather.  Babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents and caregivers are welcome.  This is a great way for children and their families to make form supportive friendships.

Just show up or contact Greta for more information.

October 5 – Bring a Friend Sunday
Children are encouraged to bring a friend on this special Sunday.  We will begin in the service for a “Story For All Ages.”  Then our children can take their friends to their classes for an introduction to Unitarian Universalism.
