Join Our UU History
Costume
Party, October 26
Our Religious Education Program
for Children and
Youth is focused on UU history. Our children and youth are making
timelines of their lives and our church history. Our RE hallway
is plastered with pictures and biographies of famous and important
UUs. Walk down the hallway and take in the interesting history.
On October 26, we will have a church-wide celebration. Come
dressed as your favorite Unitarian or Universalist. Think of some
appropriate props and let members guess who you are. Our youngest
children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes.
After the service, we will have
a costume parade,
enjoy a potluck lunch, and share games and activities for all
ages.
For those of you at a loss, we will have some masks of Unitarians and
Universalist to hand out. You will have no excuses – you must
join in the fun!
So remember, on October 26,
bring a dish to share,
wear a costume or bring a prop representing a famous Unitarian or
Universalist, and be prepared to enjoy the day.
