UPTON FIRE DEPT. MEMBERSHIP

To become a member of UVFD, an application can be picked up from the Upton Fire Chief. You must have been a resident of Upton for at least one year. One exception is if  you have a letter from your prior Fire Chief or supervisor showing good performance, the one year requirement may be waived. It must be completely filled out and brought to a monthly business meeting, held the first Thursday of each month.  The application will be read, and the floor opened to attending members for questions to the prospective member.  At the next business meeting, a vote will be conducted on the prospective member. Membership is limited to a total of 30 members.

Business meetings are held the first Thursday of every month, with a training meeting held on the third Thursday of every month.
