Project Name: CATFORD (Customers: Caterpillar, Ford and Volvo) Biggest strategic development project taken up by SAP. System Landscape: R/3 (4.6 C Industry solution Automotive), SCM 4.10 (ICH, EWM, APO, SCEM), CRM, Legacy system Decentralized asynchronus decision making by systems. Procurement and vendor selection by legacy system and all purchasing data to be replicated in R/3. R/3 to be used as the central backend system and the information broker/validator between other systems EWM to take decisions regarding any Goods Movement, CRM to take all final decisions regarding returns. ICH to support normal SMI and other collaborative scenarios. Roles : Analyzed solution approaches for the service parts engine for Inbound processing (LE-Shipping). Designed and developed a customizable validation framework for requests (new, Q differnce posting, GR) on Advance shipping notifications. Testing scenarios across the system landscape (EWM, ICH, CRM, R/3) and ensuring customizing for delivery types, item categories. Gathering requirements from various teams (EWM, ICH, R/3) and implementing them using the framework. Responsibilities : The framework was responsible for ensuring consistency of data across entire system landscape. Delivering standard customizing for validation framework to ensure all scenarios across systems work flawlessly. Project Name: GAIN (Global Accessibility INitiative) System : R/3 Core 4.6 C Roles : Analyzed reports/transactions in MM, PP area for being accessible (US Section 508 compliant). Point of contact between the external developers, module experts and answerable to senior management team. Responsibilities : Solely responsible for conversion of reports to ALV in MM-PUR using Purchasing report framework.

Vaids Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (June 2002 - July 2003)

Client: ICICI bank Technology:J2EE, SQL Server 2000 System : Manage Cheque drawing Arrangements of Coop. banks and generate data for actual clearing. System to upload all the clearing transactions of ICICI (monthly volume of over 2 million transactions). Roles : Worked as a DBA and ensured smooth coordination with teams developing different modules of the system. Development/Review of Database design, database code review and implementation of processes at database level. Responsibilities : Actual performance of system considering the volume of transactions and timely delivery from database team

Client: HDFC bank Technology: ASP, VB, SQL Server 2000 System : Enhancements of an already existing web based system to track funds movement across branches within India. Issues involved in optimization of generation of g-code for a CNC turret Created an implemental solution for the famous 2D rectangular cutting stock problem. Developed a solution for computing convex hull for a free form and enclosing it in a rectangle of minimum area. Analysis of wastage characteristics Studied traits in wastages while binding shapes, used in various industries, into convex hulls

Mini Project (January-May 2001) IIT Delhi

Implementation of parallel computing solution of triangulation problem in FEM Analyzed results and trends by running the solution on a Beowulf cluster and ‘PARAM-10k’ Worked on the problem as part of an ongoing project by Department of Science and Technology (DST) on solving elliptic boundary value problem. Received an offer from C-DAC to work on other supercomputing machines developed by them.

Morphing using feature points Built an interface for user to mark control points on two images. Developed the s/w using triangulation and interpolation in terms of barycentric coordinates. Implementation of Chat Program Built a chat client (in perl)/Server (in java using threads) Application supporting personal messaging . Project on synchronization of processes Created a s/w for random generation of processes, each using the same file for transactions. Implemented rules of sharing the common resource using Semaphores (in perl). Paint Brush Software Developed a s/w enabling the user to draw free forms and save in any image format (e.g.: jpeg, gif). Implementation of various data structures Implemented B-trees, Heaps, Graphs and algorithms manipulating them viz. dijkstras, merging of heaps. National Service Scheme (March 2000- March2001) IIT Delhi Design and implementation of completely automated e-solution for NSS-IIT Delhi Managed database of over 450 volunteers. Created s/w handling details of all activities in a manageable format and fine-tuned them by feedback mechanism. Contributed to a quantum leap in efficiency of the organization through these revolutionary efforts Tryst -2000 (Technical Festival) (February 1999)IIT Delhi Organizer of 'Vision 2000' (Career Counseling Event) Managed a team of volunteers to control 45 computers in and around Delhi. Optimized various resources for the event according to the flow of events at various centers. Acted as a backbone of the system, which handled more than 3000 students from all over India.
