Patriotism (OOC) Try-It.
"Girl Scout Ways" most of the troop has made their sit-upons and we all have ate tons of s'mores (yummmm). We are currently going over our Law and Promise to make sure we know it good.
"Earth is Our Home" we have been recycling cans over the summer and will continue through this year. Now we have collected $30.53 by recycling. That money will be used to buy that Try-It and an extra special incentive to all girls who participate by bringing in at least one large
trash bag. We also made the glass clearner that is in the Try-It book and we use it to clean the
tables at our meeting place before we leave each time.
"Healthy Habbits" we have completed a two week chart of teeth cleaning and the good food word search. We learned the "washing song" and made up hand movements to go along with it. At that meeting we also did the Glitter Germ catcher. That was real fun.
For "Colors and Shapes" we have started painting hopscotch boards on the playground at school.
The month of November we worked on the Indian Lore Try-it.
