Flower: Sun Flower Bird: Phoenix Hymn: Work for the night is coming Guide: Patriarch Militant Ritual, Code of Laws, Regulations, Ceremonies, Drills, (Patriarchs Militant Independent Order Of Odd Fellows) Motto: Where there is no vision, My people will perish. Project:United Pilgrimage for Youth
Our Roots, Chief Patriarch Abraham and High Priest Arron, in the fourteenth chapter of the book of Genisis organized a canton and brought Lot back to his brethren. Our supporting unit, the Encampment, with detailed history in the second chapter of the book of Numbers, is the unit of our order that must supply our Chevaliers. We must encourage the Encampment to remain strong. The great lessons of the Encampment will supportOdd Fellowship. Friendship, Love and Truth are stronger when supported by Faith, Hope and Charity.
Chevaliers need to wear the approved uniform whenever possible. The uniform is our regalia. When asked about the uniform, We must explain the purpose of our order. To serve as honor guards and properly carry and display national flag. To participate in the long established program of the pilgrimage to the tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. To be part of the wreath laying ceremonies each year on the first Sunday of May. Membership, is a first priority goal. We need Cantons In a number of places so our Chevaliers will not have so many miles to travel for meetings. We have eight cantons At the present time.
WE NEED MORE MEMBERS AND MORE CANTONS

Work, for the night is coming,
Work thro the sunny noon;
Fill brightest hours with labor,
Rest comes sure and soon.
Give ev'ry flying minute
Something to keep in store;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man work no more.
Work, for the night is coming,
Under the sunset skies;
While the bright tints are glowing,
Work, for daylight flies.
Work, while the night is dark'ning
When man's work is o'er.
Oh, say can you see, by the dawns early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, Through the perilous fight, O'ver the ramparts we watched, Were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, The bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night, That our flag was still there. O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave? O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
