This is a great discovery! We have learned that there is one warrior who wil l stand at the end of the world and face Omega. According to what we have found, the victor of the battle shall be decided by others. I don't quite know what this means...but I do hope this warrior, named Ragnarus, will win the final battle. For all of our sakes. But I learned this warrior was made into a card...The problem is, the card is banned. There must be some other way...Some other warrior. Perhaps I mis-translated it. We first thought it said "Ragnorak" which would make sense, but we checked again and again and it always came out "Ragnorus". We later even found the name printed in English under a statue of a being that looked almost human, or more a mankin. Also, there was a terrible tragedy today. Omega's soldiers were heading towards the Black Pyramid, which was also our current location. We knew that if Omega's soldiers reached the pyramid, it would be the end of our hope. But five of our crew members voulenteered to drive the soldiers in a different direction. Their plan was simple, each would challenge the soldiers one at a time to a duel. When one was defeated the other would shout to the soldiers his/her challenge. They formed a short line that headed in the opposite direction of the pyramid, it was fortunate that at this time of night and due the the sandhills that were surrounding the pyramid, it wasn't visable even by the soldiers' height.Their plan worked perfectly, the soldiers ended up headed away from our pyramid. All five tried desperately to defeat the soldiers. They were successful in defeating two of the six soldiers there. Which meant the soldiers became dust and part of the wind once more with their souls destroyed. Four of the duelists who challenged also met such a fate. Somehow Amanda made it back. She said that her duel was a draw and she fell backwards over a sand hill into very soft sand that was covering a small hole. We explored the hole she fell into and found it was actually a tunnel system that lead to our pyramid. It also seems to lead elsewhere. We're planning a deap investigation into the tunnels soon. But for now we need to worry about the pyramid itself, becuase it's in the open and we don't know if more soldiers will be coming soon.
NOTES: Amanda is the name of one of my friends. So I couldn't resist but have her in here. For those wondering about the name "Ragnarus": Its a derivitive of "Ragnarok". It means "God Slaying Savior" more or less. And the reason Omega does not go himself is becuase he is too weak to leave his portal still, that moment of his resurrection was him merely opening the portal and stepping through, he actually went back in to wait for souls. The Soldiers that are spoken of are humans who serve Omega and are granted a small bit of Omega's power, and are able to weild Omega's cards*but only omega's cards now*. If defeated in a duel, they simple are annihilated and turn into their surroundings, thus why the two defeated soldiers turned into Dust and Wind to fit in the desert. It is thought that when Omega is defeated, the earth shall become much more lovely and lively again. But having such happen...Is unlikely. Omega currently has 400ATK and DEF. Soon he'll create a new set of cards.
Over the last 9 days, we've faced and explored through this pyramid. From what we have now learned, it seems that this is not an egyptian pyramid as once thought. It was appearently made over twenty thousands years Before the egyptians built the First pyramid! I ponder so heavily on this fact, although only for a small amount of time. Becuase soon after we studied the actual pyramid itself, we found a very unique tablet that simple fell from the ceiling in one of the corridors and ontop of one of our architech's head. However, the tablet had no damage done to it in the slightest fasion, and the architech doesn't even have a single bruise or mark or any pain from it hitting him. He said it just felt like someone had tapped his head. Even more so amazing is that the tablet weighs 50 pounds, but can be lifted up by everyone in our group. This tablet was clearly enchanted to survive through all time. And one it was written:
"The Beast has risen
The Beast has destroyed
The Beast searchs
The Beast Hungers
But even the Beast can be slain
Follow the mark of the twilight
And end this horrible madness
That makes even I insane."
It surely must be showing the life style of Omega. "The Beast has risen" meaning that Omega has entered our world. "The Beast has Destroyed" meaning that Omega has begun destroying all things. "The Beast Searchs" meaning that Omega is searching for any survivors. "The Beast Hungers" meaning that Omega needs to devour more souls to sustain himself. "But even the Beast can be slain" This is very obvious. It just states not to give up. "Follow the mark of the Twilight" this is still being discussed, none of our team can understand what it means. "And end this Horrible Madness" "That makes even I insane" must be refering to the fear that Omega leaves in his wake. As we continue to give a thorough search of this pyramid, more secrets will come into light, more things will be understood. Also, we witnessed a terrible even this night. We saw the hand of Omega reach out of the portal and new creatures we had never seen fly and leap out of the portal. Once all the creatures exited the portal, Omega's giantic hand went back into the portal. It seems our battle becomes more fierce.
NOTES: Omega has REACHED 500 ATK and DEF at that moment and made more powerful cards. Currently Omega has 650 ATK and DEF, but now if he loses a fight, he loses 2000 points from both. Omega should be defeated A.S.A.P becuase the last two sets of cards he has are overpowered, but they are NOTHING compared to what will happen once omega hits 1000ATK and DEF and beyond. Bad times lie ahead.
What a horrific week this turned out to be. It feels like we're on the verge of a breakthrough on how to destroy Omega, but with the aid of my bad luck...Several passages in the pyramid collapsed suddenly at one moment. And we know that moments before we heard three little girls running around in those passages that were not of our team. They were giggling and running away from our crew moments before it happened, sounds like a classic horror film I enjoy. However, we were able to do something with our free time while we waited for the dig team to get back out here. A group of Omega's Soldiers came searching for us again. Unfortunately, they managed to find us. There were only three of them, so it seems my luck wasn't as bad as I thought. Amanda, the only survivor of the last such instance, Amy, a spirit young girl here with her grandfather, and little Richard, a young genius out here purely becuase he has nothing better to do, all stepped forward to duel the Soldiers. I felt that my knownledge and enjoyment of the Duel Monsters game finally came in handy. While the duel was going onword, we were able to record data on 15 more of Omega's Cards that were played. It is no doubt that the cards the Soldier's play are Omega's hand-me-downs that he has no further use for with his new sets. Amazingly, we were Very Lucky as it turns out, all three of the Soldiers were novices in Omega's Army. They were all defeated without much difficulty it seems, except for poor Amy whose luck is horrific with drawing the right card. Amy only escaped death by her opponent's horrible hand and choice of moves. With that problem out of the way, and with the new data we have on Omega's collection, we still are waiting for the Drill crew to get us out of this tight spot we're in. I do hope they get here soon, I'm dieing to know more.
NOTES: The passages of the Pyramid collapsed, this means that only certain hallways of the pyramid had their ceilings cave in. The pyramid itself is still perfectly fine. The three little girls mentioned...It was a way for me to just throw in something odd, they may show up later in this story as the "Envoys" from "The Ravaged Lands of Time". Amy is a name I happen to like, it actually has no relevance to me, its just a cute name. While Richard, yet again a name that has no relevance to me. Also note that the 15 cards are now adding to the END set. Its on the main Omega Page. Please note that the cards Omega currently uses are most likely more powerful than the ones we currently know about*We being everyone but me. heheh.*
With July 4th coming up so soon, most of the work crew is feeling down from not being able to be with the familys, while the rest of the crew is overjoyed that they finally can get back in the pyramid. There were also a few duelists here sent to protect us incase of another encounter with those Soliders, good that means we won't have to worry about those 2 kids that nearly lost the last time this happened. There were six duelists sent, three of which I have alot of confidence in, there decks were modeled after the world champion's deck, that should give them a complete advantage over these soldiers. The forth has a very unique deck, but I doubt that Angels would work against these dark soldiers. The other two are using very odd decks that don't seem like they could win, even though Many people on our crew urged them to copy the world champion's deck, they refused. I admire their link to their cards but...if the cards can't win, what good are they? I didn't take the time to remember their names, although that is abit rude on my part considering they all knew who I was. A few days ago the drill crew arrived and finally broke through all that rubble that was blocking our paths. Now that the pyramid is open again we went searching through it with great pleasure. Sadly my results turned up nothing, however Amanda managed to find a interesting tablet. This one contain no information about Omega or his army, but of the hero who may defeat him. Appearently the hero is a warrior who has been outcast by his family, friends, country, and still wishes nothing more than for their peace. Quite amazing that one could go through such and still wish well on the people who did it. The hero is to wield the faith of all in his hands as he puts forth Peace into motion. Its very nicely written, but we also came accross one line that bothered me in this tablet.
"The Destiny of all in his hands, the belief of all in his blade, the Hero has not the strength the win.The Hero will Fall..."
NOTES: Despite my hatred of the Cookie Cutters, I knew that atleast three of the six sent "Expert Duelists" would be using it, if only that few. The last line clearly says that the Hero, Ragnaros, will fail to defeat Omega. Lovely isn't it?
