| Chapter 11 Lucky was lying on the bed watching TV. He ran to the door upon hearing her voice. "Emily, what's wrong?" Lucky asked. "Oh God Lucky, he's dead!" Emily cried, as she fell into her friend’s arms. "Who?" "My father. They killed him!" Emily sobbed. "Emily, who killed him? What happened?" "I don't know Lucky," Emily yelled, as she pulled away from him and started pacing his room. Lucky didn't ask anymore questions. He walked up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Em, it's going to be okay. I'll take care of you," Lucky whispered. He held her as she cried. * * * * * Jax walked into his parents house, after dropping Alexis at the hospital. "Mom?" Jax yelled, walking into the living room. "Jax. Welcome home son. And where’s my new daughter in law?" Lady Jane asked. "She’s visiting a friend," Jax explained, as he kissed her on the cheek. "When are we going to meet her?" "Soon Mom," Jax promised. He was about to say more, but was interrupted. "Daddy!" "Maddie," Jax cried, as the three year old jumped into his arms. "I've missed you so much Daddy!" "I've missed you more," Jax said as he started tickling her. "Stop it Daddy!" Maddie screamed between giggles. Maddie looked around the room. "Daddy, where’s my new mommy?" "What sweetie?" "Papa said that you were bringing me a new Mommy!" Jax closed his eyes. He prayed that Alexis would be as excited about Maddie as she was about her. Jax still hadn’t told her about his daughter. He was going to tell her on the way home but he was a little distracted. A smile fell upon his lips as memories of their trip home floated through his mind. Flashback Alexis had gone to the bathroom and on way back to her seat, she tripped on Jax's briefcase, landing in Jax's lap. Alexis wanted to die at that moment. She never been so embarrassed in her life. "Are you okay?" Jax asked, helping her up. "I’m fine." Their faces were only inches apart and their minds and hearts were racing. Jax closed the gap between them, brushing Alexis’s lips with his own. Alexis moaned as Jax’s hands roamed her body. Her hands went to his belt, as Jax busied himself with her blouse. Jax questioned her with his eyes and she answered him with a passionate kiss. End Flashback * * * * * Carly was dressed and waiting for Johnny. The door opened and Alexis walked in. "Lex!" Carly smiled as Alexis hugged her. "Any word?" "No," Carly whispered. "What are you doing here?" "Sonny called me and told me about Michael," Alexis explained. Alexis noticed the anger in Carly’s eyes when she mentioned Sonny. "What happened between you and Sonny?" Alexis asked. "Nothing!" Carly said but Alexis wasn't buying it. "Come on Carly, this is me you’re talking to." Carly looked at her friend, seeing something different in her. "So how’s married life treating you?" Carly asked. Alexis shrugged her shoulders. "I’ve only been married for 24 hours. And besides, we were talking about you and Sonny," Alexis reminded her. "I hate him Lex!" Carly said bitterly, her eyes filling with tears. Alexis looked at Carly knowing that she didn't hate Sonny. "You don't mean that Carly." Carly laughed. "Yes I do. If it wasn't for Sonny, my husband would be alive! If it wasn't for Sonny, my son would be with me!" Carly screamed, as she fell to the floor and cried. Alexis knelt beside her and hugged her, holding her best friend, while she cried about the people she loved the most. Neither noticed Sonny standing in the doorway. He walked away without being seen. * * * * * Taggert walked into the station and directly into Mac’s office. "I found this at a crime scene.” Mac looked up at Taggert to see what he was referring to. "What crime scene?" "A man was murdered tonight. The victim’s name was Hank Bowen. His daughter is missing. Her name is Emily Bowen and this was found in her room." "I want her found!" Mac yelled. "Yes sir," Taggert said as went out the door. Mac looked at the package on his desk. He picked up the phone, dialing a number. "Sonny could you come to the station? We found something you need to look at." "I'll be right there!" Sonny replied, replacing the receiver and heading for the door. * * * * * Helena dialed a number. "Hello?" the voice on the other end answered. "I need you to come to Port Charles immediately!" “Why? Is it Carly?" the man asked. "Your precious Carly is fine. But I need you here for the second part of my plan." "I don't think it's a good idea for me to come there." "I didn't ask you to think!" Helena yelled. "If you know what’s good for you, you’ll be on the next plane to Port Charles!" she continued before slamming the phone down. Her phone started ringing. "What!" she yelled. "When?" Helena asked. "She married who?" Helena once again slammed the phone down. "Big mistake Natasha!" she whispered. |
