The nymphs of the waters are quite playful. They tease land animals and beings and usually will follow other sea creatures around. They love the dolphins which come across their way. Though the dolphins don't live in the lake they have been known to come from time to time. The nymphs of the lake have legs like any other nymph and are as usual, naked. They will adorn themselves with shells and jewels and such but only to attract attention to themselves. Nymphs are beautiful women of the lake, they often surface to see the world as it is on top of the surface or to tease a boy who might be passing by. They are not very shy and will approach if they feel it is necessary to get the attention they need. Unlike the forest nymphs who are very shy and quick to disappear. The water nymphs invite curious passers to join them and will often play games with them, even if the person doesn't realize it is a game. But, if danger arises they are very quick in the water, able to follow the current with spectacular ease. Some nymphs will develop tails, much like a mermaid or a siren, though mostly it is rare inside the lake. |
