We shall miss your grin,
That makes us all smile so much.
For those soft baby coos,
And those eyes so blue,
And above all, your gentle touch.
You leave behind a family of love,
For now you're with God's family above.
May your spirit soar, and always chase,
Those kites in the sky,
That put smiles on your face.
And although, we don't know
Why you had to go,
In God's hands you'll be safe,
And that we know.
And please rest in peace
With pleasant dreams
As you play with the angels above.
And I say again to our April Lynne,
We shall forever miss your sweet grin,
Until the day we meet you again,
