Operation: Black Rain

Naruto?...

Getting there...
        Cadillac CTS...great car huh. Great stabilizing system, letting me, Pac-man, Johnny (The owner of the Cadillac CTS), and Alex make a 90 degree turn into Nellie Gail at 60 mph. And then the cars GPS/navigation system couldn't tell us when to turn right, at the right time, because we were going so fast, the computer couldn't keep up with where we were. So we ended up passing the correct street...twice?
Kevin's House...
        We're at Kev's house and we watch The Bourne Identity and portions of The Hunted. Then Steve, me, Pac-man, Alex, Johnny decide to go on patrol down in the valley where we were going to airsoft in. Steep ..yeah it was steep. By this time its about 2 in the morning Saturday. We climb down 2 fences and reach the basin of the valley which has some mud gutter on our side we had to cross in the dark. Well Thankfully, Jonathan brought his PVS-7's and we checked out the area for cacti or any booby traps set for us on the other side. We ford, with weapons hot, climb out and continue to sweep forward. Nice horse trail. Only about 75º steep up the hill. Excellent, nothing hide in except an open horse trail, and completely overgrown brush. By the way, where are those clouds for the forecasted nightly/morning rains? We head back, get some sleep. I didn't because I didn't bring my sleeping bag. I slept on 3 large sofa pillows and used my sweater as a blanket...
        Day 2...
Wake up 7:00 after getting absolutely no sleep at all because Jonathan was snoring behind me (He got to sleep on the comfy sofa across from Steven, and I was afraid of that one assassin dude from The Hunted would come and slice my face a couple times. ok.. so we get up, raid Kev's kitchen in search of food. Hmmm, where is it? Oatmeal, Ramen, half bags of cereal! We eat the breakfast of champions...and watch The Rock and The Negotiator. Finally we gear up and take some pictures!

The old man is snoring...

There those clouds are. No rain yet though. Let's go! We split into 2 teams 5 vs. 6. On briefing down at the basin, rain begins to fall. The team I was on consisted of: Pac-man, Gary, Ray(Me), Raymond(Big-Ray), Jonathan, and Alex. By the end of the briefing, the rain was quiet substantial in volume :/. Ahhh my gun is getting wet! we all moved in pairs of 2. P with G, R with R, and J wit A. Raymond supposedly told pair PG (Pacman and Gary) to be decoys and start shooting in the open basin, while we (pairs RR and JA) take positions in the thick jungle-like valley side on far side (looking out from the house which was on the near side...If I'm making sense). I don't think Raymond told the rest of us that plan, so Gary and Pacman were hit pretty quick due to the lack of fire support.

By this time, its pouring. We're drenched, my Bolle t800's are blocking my view because there aren't windshield wipers. Our guns are soaked, but we play. Raymond and I take a high position on the opposite hill from group JA. I hear a lot of full-auto shooting in the trees. I find out later that the pair Then, I got gun trouble. I pull the trigger and nothing happens, switch to full auto then to semi again. Shoots, then nothing again! Aw crap switch to secondary! Sling m15a4 behind my back and pull out my KJW M9. I hook up with Raymond behind a tree and we talk about our poor wet guns for a bit before resuming our fight... At the end I run out of ammo and I don't know did the battle just end there? But we all went inside, tried to get cleaned up, dried our weapons. Oh, and Steven smells like crap because he fell into crap. Its a brownish yellow color and smells excellent. Our boots are all muddy so we change into sneakers.

Down Time...
Naruto! a bunch of people go upstairs play Naruto as the others stay down and continue to mend their guns :/. I just sat on Kevin's bed watching this anime dog bite onto this dude with a big bun on head. great stuff.

Springer Time!...
Ok, so we start to have a springer war, where I am the only target! Lovely. I get shot in the brow by Stevens upgraded MP5 with red dot and start shooting back with my cousin (Jonathan)'s MK-23. More people join in and its pretty much 1 on 9. I take off my sneakers and get into Jonathans car who opens the moon-roof. I get out and he drives down the street and I start to shoot out the moon roof with his MK-23 :-D! Then um, people come out with like AEG's...

So I run. Into someone's side yard. I pop my head up over the gate and it's Steven with his mp5! So I run into the random person's backyard over the gate down a 5 foot drop into some weird flowers and end up on a horse trail that leads to the valley behind Kevin's house. I was in sneakers and there was a pretty good layer of mud on the ground so I through the flower beds. But uh...The neighbors ,of Kevin's, backyard extended down to the basin so I had no choice but to go down. (Where all the mud/water was) I almost fell about 10 times before I got back into Kevin's backyard to be spotted by Kevin and Steven and get shot in the knee. Excellent time.
