About me

Hi ! I am from the city of Salem, Tamil Nadu, South India. I am a saurashtrian and I have been trying to answers some of my friends' question as to who are saurashtrians ? Some claim that saurashtrians are of aryan lineage, the same as brahmins following Vaishnava samprada and that they are early settlers from N. India and distinguished by their unique talent in weaving. There are also legends that claim saurashtrains are of Scythia origin of the rajput race and saurashtrians are of sarmatians lineage with women warriors (huh??). I am still trying to find out which is true ...Now, back to me !!
