the course of his career in theatre, Vatican has created compelling
characterizations
in several shows, including the New Orleans premieres of Grand
Hotel:
The Musical, Falsettos, Chess, and many
others.
He is a well-known family theatre actor, frequently performing in
children's theatres and touring productions throught the area, as well
as his many performances on local cabaret stages, and in convention
shows around New Orleans. As a 14-year member of Porta-Puppet
Players, Vatican has played for a multitude of audiences in a host of
different roles.
He is also
recognized
from his frequent appearances on New Orleans television, including his
annual appearances as Prof. Carl Nivale© for WWL-TV. He has
also appeared on several New Orleans radio stations, either as a
much sought-after spokesperson for local and regional theatrical
productions, or as trusted traffic reporter "Paul Christopher."
