This is my first update in awhile because my dad took the digital camera on his vacation with him! So as you will notice, I have done quite a lot to the body since the last update. There are two shots on this page, the current front, and the current back. I have yet to relic the paint on the sides of the body, and partially on the front. I also have a few touch-ups to do on the back. I think the front of the guitar turned out much better than the back, mostly because I had honed my relicing techniques by the time I started the front. I found a common Dremel power tool can do wonders! It is also less messy than a file and sand paper. Most of the work is now done with the dremel; I also use the file for the edges of the body, and occasionally some sand paper and random metal objects. Anyway, I'll let these pics speak for themselves! |
