Part II: The Change
The Woman was crying where she had been lying. She was cold, in fear and alone. She was hiding inside a dark and damp cave. She didnt want Him to see her. She didnt want His light to find herself and see her like this. She knew that she had been weak for the needs of the Man. The Man had changed things the way he wanted to. She felt that change. She felt something was lost inside like feeling the loss of a limb, inspite of her swelling misshapen abdomen. But she didnt know what had happened. She was crying because she couldnt see Him anymore. Not because she couldnt see the Man. Only Him, neither the Man, nor the Master of Time.
"What if I could never hug him again?", she murmured holding her abdomen. "I am not weak without him. Not without Him."
"No!", replied a moss scented inhuman voice in the dark, "Never without the Man. No! Never without him. Never..."
Lilith's eyes opened with fear. She thought she was alone in the dark. "Who are you?"
"I am you. You! I am me! You are me too. Me! I am a part of you..."
Lilith screamed with fear and hatred, "No, you are NOT me!"
"You could stop loving Him but not the Man. Not the Man...Never the Man"
"I cant feel now what I feel for the Man, I cant think of him anymore. I dont understand what he has done to me. The only thing I know that it wasn? like talking to Him, it wasnt like caressing Him... I dont need the Man!" The woman stared at the walls of the cave, "There are other things here that belong to me, other than the Man", she said, "Even better than him, the things that only I can see"
"How? Belong to us? How much better? How? Ours? How?..."
The Woman's fingers moved on the wet soil for a while. Then her fingers found the damp walls of the cave. Lilith drove her fingernails into the rocks.
"I am drawing... The things once I had seen...  thought... felt..."
"Seen?... Thought?... Where? When?..."
"Outside. But I cant go outside anymore. I belong to here, to the dark... He must not see me. And the Man... he must never find me."
After a short silence, the other voice asked Lilith with a voice like ice: "And Him?...Could you draw Him too? Him? Draw? Him too?..."
"Yes", the Woman replied and kept on drawing.
"Hell!", the dark voice screamed. A horrible wind blew inside the dark. Lilith fell on her knees with fear. She tucked herself behind a rock taking her head in between her hands. She was alone once again. If she could see, she would see her white body and hands covered with blood. And the walls too.
