Ingredients 2 x 1.7 Kg Cans Malt Shovel Brewing Brand Oatmeal Stout 2 x 11 gm Manchester Ale Yeast
Method Warm cans in hot water Add to fermenter Top with hot-cold water to reach 23 litres @ 25deg C Pitch yeast
Facts and Figures OG: 1.044 FG: 1.021 23 Litres
Analysis Followed advice on this one and just made beer with canned extract only Flavour lacked depth going into the bottle - should have added something to jazz it up
Taste Test - Flavour still remained a bit shallow after settling down in the bottle but not as much as expected A mild but very drinkable stout
