Chapter 18

"Hi, come on in." Keyana stepped aside as Nick stepped in. She shut the door, the atmosphere seemed to chance with him there.

"Keyana, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just wanted you to go over some things."

"Oh, there's no rush you know. I don't wanna be botherin' you or whatever."

"No, you're not bothering me. I just wanted to get this done now. I hope you don't mind me calling you so late, I guess I wasn't thinking."

"Nah, no biggie. I'm not doing anything tonight anyway. So what was it that you wanted to show me."

"Right here. Have a seat." She sat on the couch and Nick sat next to her.

He wasn't expecting to get a call from her this late at night, and he definitely wasn't expecting to be at her home at this time of night. Not that he was complaining. He hadn't stopped thinking about her since this afternoon. Actually when she called, he'd been sleeping, dreaming of her. Dreaming of her in ways he shouldn't be dreaming of her. Her body wet with perspiration, and him over her, moving against her. He'd been saddened to know when he woken up from the phone ringing, it had all been a dream. The fact that it was her on the phone, made up for it though. It was like a sign. Now as he turned to look at her rifling through her briefcase, he knew it was. Something was wrong, she looked upset. He hadn't known her that long, but he could tell somehow.

"Keyana?"

"Yes?" She turned to look at him.

"Is something wrong, I mean really."

"No, why do you say that?"

"You're not acting like yourself. I know I haven't known you that long, but something feels different. You wanna talk about it?"

"There's nothing to talk about except this form here." She handed him the paper. "I forgot to ask you today if you wanted the lining in that shade, or this one here. I know you have that checked there, but I need to know if you wanted that one there of that shade, or this one here of that shade." She explained.

Nick's eyes widened. "Huh?"

"Sorry." She sniffled and started again. "Ok, I need you to..." She trailed off as Nick put the paper down, took the pen she was holding and tossed it on the table next to her. Gently he took her hands in his.  "Keyana."

She looked up at him.

"What's wrong?"

She shook her head, damn he was too observant. She wrung her hands together and chuckled sadly. "There's nothing wrong Nick."

"You're lying."

'"What? I am not."

"You are so."

"How do you know?"

"I just know, I see it in your eyes."

She looked down quickly, silently curing herself. Nick reached forward and lifted her chin up.

"Tell me."

"I, I had a fight with my boyfriend."

Nick nodded. "What about?"

"Just ya know, stuff."

"Stuff. I see."

"I mean, he doesn't trust me and he's a jerk and I hate him!" She rambled, the tears starting to run down her face. "He's just, he's never been like this and I don't know what's gotten into him lately." She wiped at her eyes. "We never fight and I feel so bad and yet, I still hate him! Oh I hate him!" She spat before starting to cry.

"Aww Keyana, I'm sorry." Nick whispered, wrapping his arm around her.

She nodded, looking down. "I just don't know what to do."  She hated when they fought which was hardly ever. When they did though, it usually was bad.

"You shouldn't have to do anything. I don't know what his problem is, but a relationship should be built on trust, if he doesn't trust you then..." Nick trailed off.

"I know." Keyana whispered, still looking down.

Nick reached out and placed his fingers under her chin, lifting her head again. "He must be crazy to have hurt you. What kind of boyfriend is he?"

"N-Nick, it's not like that it's..." She was cut off as Nick placed a finger over her lips.

"Shhh, don't. Don't say anything."

I want to know you
But your personality and mind
Are not the things I wanna try
And I cannot control you
Cause no matter how I try
Our conversations aren't defined

"Nick..."

"Do you know that I watch you? I watch the way your body moves beneath your clothes. I  watch you in your office, and I know you see me. I know you can see me watching, I want to know how does it feel?  I long to touch you, hold you, to feel you. How does it feel  to know it Keyana?" He murmured, leaning in to kiss her cheek.

"N-Nick, I..."She couldn't believe she was hearing this. "I-I shouldn't have invited you here, this was a mistake." She stammered.

"No matter what, I'll always be there watching, looking, waiting." He whispered, kissing her other cheek.

And I say How does it feel?
When you know that I'm watching?
How does it feel?
When you know that I'm there?
Why do you think you can hide from your mistakes?
Whatever babe, whatever baby
I will see your face again

She started to pull away, space, she needed space to think. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't noticed him looking at her, the way he looked at her.  "Don't Nick."

"You know, your boyfriend must not see it, not see how beautiful you are. I'd do anything for you." Slowly he leaned in, brushing his lips against hers.

Keyana pulled away quickly, only to have Nick cup her face in his hands.

"You can't hide from me Keyana." Nick said softly, before leaning into kiss her lips softly.

I followed you a lifetime baby
You could never hide from me
I close my eyes and fantasize
About you right in front of me
And when I find I'm satisfied
I wake up and I realize that everything you've done to me
Was only in my mind

You are the one to  make me better
You are the one who will never change
Sometimes I think you've read my letters
Maybe you already know my name

She sat there paralyzed, helpless to move as he kissed her gently. Their lips barely touched, but it was enough. She pulled back to look at him.

"God you're so beautiful." He whispered. It was just like he'd written, pages and pages of fantasies of what it would be like to kiss her, to feel her beneath him. The constant thoughts of her in his mind. Now she looked back at him. Her eyes slightly closed, lips parted sensuously. He could stand it no longer, and again he captured her lips in a deeper kiss, one that he felt through his body. He pulled her closer and was rewarded to hear her soft moan as he slid his arms around her waist.

God this was too good, he tasted too good. It was wrong, it was so wrong. Seemingly against her will, she slid her arms up his chest to wrap around his neck as he deepened the kiss. So long, she'd wanted this so long. His lips moved slowly over hers, her body starting to tingle. Her heart was pounding and the heat was rising. Never had she been kissed like this, never in her wildest dreams did she imagine anything feeling this good. She felt herself being pushed back and she couldn't stop herself as her head hit the soft cushions.

I want to see you
Not the fragments in my mind
Or the pages where you lie
Well I want to feel you
In every corner of my bed
I sleep with you beneath my head
How does it feel?
When you know that I'm watching?

How does it feel?
When you know that I'm there?
Why do you think you can hide from  your mistakes?
Whatever babe, whatever baby
I will see your face again

He ran his hands over her waist, loving the feel of her. He wanted her, he wanted more. He wanted her tumbling in his bed, he wanted to wake up and see her beneath him. He wanted her.

He moved his lips down her throat and then to her collarbone as his hands slid upwards, and under her shirt. He caressed her soft skin, pushing her shirt up as he pressed his hips against hers.

She could feel him against her, so hard. She brought her hands down to his hips and pressed him closer to her and heard his groan. His lips caught hers again. Suddenly an image of Shane flashed before her. What was she doing?! She pushed against him
.
"Nick, stop. Stop!" She called out.

Nick pulled away reluctantly.

"I can't, I can't. Shane, he's still my boyfriend. Wrong, this is wrong." She stammered, struggling to sit up.

Nick struggled to bring his breathing back to normal.

"I think you should..."

"I know." He turned to look at her, her face flushed and lips swollen from his kisses. Her eyes met his and the longing was there again. "I'll see you later Keyana."

"Bye Nick." She whispered.

"Good luck with Shane, let him apologize to you. You deserve no less." He announced. He leaned in again and brushed his lips over hers again. "Good night." He murmured, before getting up and walking out the door.

I followed you a lifetime baby

About you right in front of me
And when I  find I'm satisfied

Entry 8

Hey!

I did it, I kissed her! I can't believe it happened. I'm in shock. She was just like i imagined she'd be.
I'm even more deadset. It's all different now. I need her, and i think she needs me too.
God i sound obssed! Ok i'll just take it slowly and find out what happens.
She finally mentioned her boyfriend, i was wondering how long that would take.
Apparently they had a fight of sorts, she wouldnt tell me what it as about but i can only wonder, whatever it was she was in tears. I'd never make her cry.
So ill write where thers more to tell later!

Nick
