| Throughout the years in Las Vegas we saw shows in every hotel as invited guests Here are just a few of the many we have seen. | The rat pack was shooting a movie in the 60's called Oceans11 at the Sands Hotel and I was staying there for a few days. I was having a cocktail in the lounge watching Sinatra do a scene and in came Caeser Romero who was in the movie Anyhow we started talking and we found out that we lived a few minutes away from each other in Brentwood, California. I was taking my friend Marty out for dinner that evening, so I asked Romero if he would like to join us and he said yes. We had a great time, after dinner we went to five different lounge shows, everywhere we went the checks were paid for by the hotel bosses. When I got back to Brentwood I saw Caeser Romero a few times after that at his home. He was a very smart man, and what a dancer. He made a lot of movies, and he passed away a few years ago. |
| Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop were known as the rat pack, and they played exclusively at the Sands hotel in the 1960's. We saw them numerous times with Marty and LaVerne as invited guests of the Sands hotel. |

The Las Vegas police officers I knew.The one on the bottom, Ralph Lamb was Sheriff of Clark County, Las Vegas and when he retired he came to work at the Golden Nugget Hotel as chief of security. He and I became friendly and when his son came to work at the hotel as a limosene driver I trained him in his job. |
