Vehicle of Carbondale, IL are now approaching their second year as a band. They will soon record their follow up to their 2001 EP Six Shots At The Boss, tentatively titled The Wolfman Act. The band's music has been described as art-punk and heavy indie-rock.
In September of 2001, Vehicle independently booked and played a tour that took them from Illinois to Seattle and back. Locally, the band headlines most shows and have played with such acts as We Ragazzi, Ring Cicada, Tub Ring, Vue, Kill Devil Hills, Hello Operator and The Fighting 407. Vehicle plan on playing as many shows as possible and looking for label support in 2002. |
