Ms. Hatcher's Assembly Recitals are approximately one hour long with commentary on each selection and a question and answer period at the end of the program. Based on recitals she has done for retirement communities, Ms. Hatcher created an opera program to introduce opera to students of all ages. She has created another program to entertain and educate students about the role of African Americans in the world of classical music. Though designed for Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month, this program can be presented to elementary, middle/junior high school and high school students all year long. |
