Daisy V. Maze was born in Western Oklahoma, in a small community called Lone Rock. She now lives in a small town south of Tulsa. She is a widow with five children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as writing books, she enjoys genealogy and playing the guitar. In addition to Rueban's Trek, Daisy Maze has written several science fiction novels as well as short stories. And is helping to write a true crime novel called A Death in Salida.
