VCO celebrated "WORLD VETERINARY DAY" in Pakistan |

Vets Care Organization Pakistan (VCO) engaged in welfare of animals through uplift of veterinary profession in Pakistan since last 5 years has celebrated the "WORLD VETERINARY DAY" first time in the history of Pakistan on April 29, 2006. VCO conducted its executive body meeting. The agenda of the meeting was "CELEBRATE OUR DIVERSITY". VCO aimed to promote its work more for the welfare of animals through uplift of veterinary profession in Pakistan.
This meeting was conducted at the production unit of "SYMANS PHARMACEUTICALS" in Lahore Pakistan. The chief Guest of the event was Dr. Syed Sajjad Haider (Patron in Chief of VCO). The guest of honour was Prof. Dr. H.A.Hashmi (Patron of Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan). The executive body & senior members of the Vets Care Organization & Vets Care Club University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan attended the meeting. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the current role of veterinary profession in the society of Pakistan & to celebrate the World Veterinary Day by celebrating the diversity of the veterinary profession. Medicine Aid to SPCA |
A letter No. SPCA/pb/2kiv-404 received from the veterinary officer SPCA Dr. Noor Ul zaman Rafique in which the donation of the antibiotics and anti-pyratic, dewormers and other life saving drugs for the treatment of the ownerless/poor owners animals was requested. President Vets Care Organization, Dr. Mohsin Ali Bhatti after consulting with the Incharge VCO Medicine Bank Mr.Asad Ali sanctioned the medicines about cost of 3,000 Rs.

Dr. Sabira Nazir (Executive Member VCO) has been appointed as "Veterinary Officer (VO)" in Lahore Zoo, Lahore Pakistan. Previously during her studies she has been working as senior vice president of Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore for the year 2005-2006. VCO congratulates her on her appointment.

Meeting of newly selected executive body of Vets Care Club, UVAS Lahore.
President of Vets Care Organization Pakistan Dr. Mohsin Ali Bhatti called an urgent meeting of the newly selected executive body of the Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan. In this meeting, Dr.Rana Shaukat presented a report on present status of the Vets Care Club, UVAS Lahore.The future plannings of Vets Care Club, UVAS Lahore for the year 2006-07 was also discussed. Dr. Mohsin Ali Bhatti advised the executive body to work more enthusiastically for the promotion of the work of Vets Care Organization Pakistan (VCO) & ultimately for the welfare of animals & uplift of veterinary profession. He congratulated the newely selected executives for their selection as executive body members of the Vets Care Club, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore Pakistan.
