Activities

Once you become a member of MOMS Club®, that's when the fun starts and your isolation ends. All of our events are held in the daytime and are child friendly, with the exception of our MOMS Night Out.

Some of the activities that the Victor/Farmington/Canandaigua chapter offers are:

Weekly Field Trips - We pick places that are adult and child friendly. For example we have had a Post Office Tour, a tour of Krispy Kreme donuts and we will be visiting a local working dairy farm in the spring.

Playgroups - Playgroups are being started and will consist of 4-5 Moms with children within the same age group.

Monthly Newsletter - Our newsletter goes out once a month to our members via email or snail mail letting you know about all the events coming up, general news and other things to do within the community.

MOMS Night Out - While children are invited to all MOMS Club® activities, we encourage Moms to leave the children with Dad for MOMS Night Out. Sometimes it is dinner, a movie and coffee, a visit to the local pottery painting store, visiting a local spa or just hanging out and chatting. Each month is different.

Sunshine Committee - One of our nicest "activities", this committee helps set up volunteers to make dinners for our Moms who have just given birth or are dealing with immediate family problems as well as sending out cards and well wishes.

Scrapbooking Club - we meet once a month to chat and scrapbook.

Service Projects As a non-profit organization, we are obligated to perform one service project that benefits children each year. After that, we can do more service projects if the club agrees. Ideas for service projects should be given to the Administrative VP. As Moms who are fortunate enough to stay at home with our children and give them the best we can, it is good to reach out to our community and beyond to help those who are less fortunate.
