Peace, love and equality for all.
Yasha(aka Nebula or Nebby):
Do you want to change the world?  Then change yourself... then it will be a fad and everyone will join in a bunch at a time until everyone will want to be just like you... then a week later they wont care anymore.

Ok ive changed my personal goal... im still for all that lovey good stuff but i have a different point of view since i started this web page...  i have seen hell and been through it ... and it has changed me... i have seen myself through unloving eyes... and through loves eyes and i see who i am to others and it makes me think ....yes i think... sometimes i find myslef affraid of this world and other times very fond of it.... i guess thats the heart of humanity... i guess im not a very good human.... i use a lot of dots... i just noticed that... and i use run on sentences.  I'll have to work on that... uh anyway.  I dont advertise my page.  This page is for very special people who i give the address to.  So feel special dang it.... :) or i didn't give it to you and you just stumbled on it by accident... then youre just lucky.  At any rate this is me... this is my site and my thoughts ... my domain, my point of view.  Respect it and i hope you enjoy what you see.  Much love... me.

Here are some sayings I like:
You fight for what you love and you love what you fight for.
Love isn't love until you give it away.
The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
Samson killed 1000 Philistines with a jawbone of an ass, 1000's of relationships are killed each day with the same weapon.
Happiness does not depend on money, or leisure, or society, or even health; it depends on our relation to those we love.
Dont mistake kindess for weakness.
Remember that great love and great accomplishments involve great risk.
A hug is a great gift-one size fits all, and its easy to exchange.
Courage is not the absence of fear, but doing somthing even though you have fear.
Your ideas are your own and no one can take them from you.
In prosperity our friends now us; in adversity we know our friends.
Toast will always fall jelly side down.
Act with courtesy and fairness, regardless of how others treat you.  Don't let them determine your response.
What will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, but looses his own soul.
People who have warm friends are healthier and happier than those who have none.  A single real friend is a treasure worth more than gold or precious stones.
The only way for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
He who laughs last, thinks slowest.
Every person is  a mirror, in which he/she sees his/her own reflection.
A merry heart does good as medicine. Count your age by friends-not years,
Count your life by smiles-not tears.
You only get out of life what you put into it.
Give someone a fish he/she eats for a day, teach him/her to fish he/she eats for a lifetime.
What goes around comes around.
It is said:  If you run in front of car yiou get tired.  If  you run in back of car you get exhausted. ^_^
Treat a person as s/he is, and s/he will remain as s/he is.  Treat a person as s/he can and should be and s/he will become as s/he can and should be.
The conscience is a celestial spark which God has put into every person for the purpose of saving his/her soul.
That which we obtain too easily, we care too lightly,  It is dearest only which gives everything its value,  Heaven know how to put a poper price on its goods.
The best gift you can give anyone is your time and love.
Everything looks impossable, for the people who never try.
Preception is everything.  Don't always believe your eyes.
Every person is a mirror, in which s/he sees only his/her own reflection.
You cannot go back to the start, but you can always start anew.
Dont mistake kindness for weakness. ^_^
Humility depends upon our capacity to appraciate and value other human beings, whomeveer they may be.
Accept the fact that reguardless of how many times you are right, you will sometimes be wrong.
It is good to be humble and polite, but don't let anyone push you around.
Spend your time creating not critisizing.
Never give up on anyone, miricles happen every day.
Remember, that great love and great achievments involve great risk.
Spend your life lifting people up, not putting them down. Watch your attitude its the first thing people notice about you.
Courage is not the towering oak that sees stroms come and go; it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
The best proof of love is trust.
Win without boasting; loose without excuses.
I believe in Christ like I believe in the noon day sun.  Not becase I see it, but because I can see everything else.
Admit your mistakes, learn to accept that no matter how hard you try you be perfect you will never be.  If you cannot accept that you're human and all humans make mistakes, but always when you make a mistake learn from it
Things to think about...
This is a new day.  God has given me this day to use as i will.  I can waste it or use it for good.  What I do today is important, because I'm exchanging a day of my life for it.  When tomarrow comes, this day will be gone forever, leaving in its place something I have traded for it.  I want it to be a gain, not a loss; good not evil; success not failure in order that I shall not regret the price I paid for it.
Wanted...
Is the sky blue?
A heart that never hardens,
A touch that never hurts,
A smile that never blurs,
A love that never falters.
Is the sky really blue or is what we taught to call "blue" really different colors to different people, but since our beguinning we have been taught that what we see is blue even though it is red?
The Virtuous Wo/Man
The viruous wo/man has a well balanced personality.  S/He takes control of her/his emotions and s/he has strength of character.  Her/His personal characteristics are such that s/he can confront the future with optimism and hope.  S/He has resourses within her/himself to overcome trials and tentions without breaking down.  Those who know her/him, are attracted to her/him by her/his personal charm.  S/He has dedicated energy to the task of getting to know her/himself and to develope her/his personality with the help of God.  Therefore, her/his virtues have been strengthened and her/his defects have diminished.  S/He has a positive, personal image of her/himself; based on the knowledge that God created her/him, redeemed her/him and gave her/him an important mission to do and made her/him capable to act upon it.
Life is not a brief candle to me.  It is a sort of splended torch, which I've got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generatoins.
Who am I to judge another?  I am no one.  When those who judge without total consideration for all possibilities are as those they judge so harshy.  It would only be fair to be judged the way you judge others.  Why is it so easy to get worked up and so hard to calm down?  Is the world we live in such that hate comes before love?  Do we have to do what the world does just to fit in, or even to live?  Why does one fear to be the person they are inside?  Why would one feel threatened to act for a great cause?  Does what you let in your realm influence who you are or who you want to be?  Why do we let things happen we can prevent that cause us pain?  What is happiness?  What is pain?  Can one have happiness without sadness at one point in thier life?  What is status to one, other than what others think of them?  Is it more important to be sucessful or do you find sucess in knowing who you are and living the life you've always wanted, reguardless of status?  Why would one run in place in a marathon?  Why do some complain about what they cannot change and put off what they can do.  If we all could see past our differences would we be able to see our similaraties?  Are we truely equal if we don't believe in equality?  Does the sun exist if we cannot see it?  Does God exist if no one believes in him?  If we are taught something since we were born are we responsible to know if it is wrong or right?  Is someone who cries easily too sensitive or is someone who comments on how weak that person is, not sensitive enough?  Does the strong oak tree stand straight and tall because it has no other choice?  Do you?  Is the distance of our destination important or is it more important if you reach your destination?  Death is like a hallway to a dead end to some.  Why can't they see the door there right in front of them?  Does the experiances in life make us numb from the pain or does it make us more sensitive by understanding what pain others feel?  Why is one person mocked and beaten to death and another praised and worshipped for saying the exact same things?  What or who defines classes and personal worth of a soul?  Why would one choose hate if love were a possibility?  Does silence show weakness or does silence when you want to scream at the top of your lungs show how strong you are?  How many times must one prove themselves before others accept them?  Is it important to know all that there is or to understand some of it?  Is courage the ability to rush into a dangerous situation without fear, or is it having the fear and doing it anyway?  Is true love the act of telling that person you care about them every day or is it having knowledge of it even when  you dont?
Does God Exist?
The professor of a university challenged his students with this question; "Did God create everything that exsists?"
A student answered bravely, "Yes, he did".
The professor then asked. "If God created everything, then he created evil.  Since evil exists (as noticed by our own actions), so God is evil.  The student couldn't respond to that statement causing the professor to conclude that he had "proved" that " belief in God" was a fairy tale, and therefore worthless.
Another student raised his hand and asked the professor, "May I pose a question?"
"Of course" answered the professor.
The young student stood up and asked: "Professor does Cold exist?"
The professor answered, "What kind of question is that?  Of course the cold exist... haven't you ever been cold?"
The young student answered, "In fact sir, cold does not exist.  According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold, in fact is the absensce of heat.  Anything is able to be studied as long as it transmits energy(heat).  Absolute Zero is the total absence of heat, but cold does not exist.  What we have done is create a term to describe how we feel if we don't have body heat or we are not hot."
"And, does dark exist?", the student continued.
The professor answered "Of course."
This time the student responded, "Again you're wrong, sir.  Darkness does not exist either.  Darkness is in fact simply the absence of light.  Light can be studied, darkness cannot.  Darkness cannot be broken down.  A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam finnishes.  Dark is a term that we humans have created to describe what happens when there's a lack of light."
Finally, the student asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
The professor replied, "Of course it exists, as I mentioned at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violent anywhere in teh world, and those things are evil."
The student responded, "Sir, evil does not exist.  Just as in teh previous cases, Evil is a term which man has created to describe the result of the absence of God's presence in the hearts of man.
After this, the professor bowed down his head, and didn't answer back.
That young mans name was Albert Einstein.
To Thine Own Self Be True.
How to be Beautiful
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beutiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with teh knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.  Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.  As you grow older, you will discover that you ahve two hands; one helping yourself,  and the other for helping others.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don't already have everythign you desire.  If youdid, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something, for it give you the oppertunity to learn.
Be thanful for the difficult times.  During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations, becuse they give you oppertunities for improvement.
Be thankful for eachnew challenge, because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for yourmistakes.  They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thanful fro the good things.  A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful fo rthe setbacks. Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.  Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.
Life vs Dust
A house becomes a home when you can write 'i love you' on the furnitue.  I can't tell you how many countless hours that I ahve spent cleaning!  I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect.  In case someone came over.  Then I realized one day tha tno on came over; they where all out living life and having fun.
Now, when people do visit, I find no need to explain the "condition" of my home.  They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun.  If you havn't figured this out yet, please heed this advice:

Life is short.  Enjoy it!
Dust if you must,
but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter,
bake a cake or plant a seed,
ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must,
but there's not much time,
with rivers to swim and mountains to climb,
music to hear and books to read,
friends to cherish and life to lead.

Dust if you must, but the world's out there
with the sun in your eyes,
the wind in your hair,
a flutter of snow,
a shower of rain.
this day will not come around again.

Dust if you must,
but bear in mind,
old age will come and it's not kind.
And when you go- and go you must-
you yourself will make more dust!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.

A Smile Epidemic
Smiling is infectious,
You catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin.
When they smiled i realized,
I'd passed it on to them.

I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile just like mine.
could travel the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected.
