Retun to Guy 1
The Wulfrunian. Complicated just like it's name. West Riding of Wakefield, long time users of Guy, presented a shopping list for the most modern vehicle ever, but Guy didn't have the time or resources to develop it properly.  Wolverhampton bought a couple of units, but took out some of the problems, like air suspension, and had them running long and productive lives.
The Burnley Colne and Nelson authority took some examples, an Arab Mk IV.
In a deviation from the original offering, Accrington took a couple of rear entrance versions of the Wulfrunian.
Provincial were nonconformists. This Arab was one of a few operating with Deutz air cooled engines. Magirus-Deutz trucks became very popular in the 60-70's, but they were not able to convince bus operators of the benefits of air-cooling. Probably noise had a lot to do with it.
