Pairing: Elijah Wood/?
Summary: Elijah knows nothing.
What do you think you know? You think you know yourself? You think you know me? You think you understand the universal themes of life? Life? Death? Trust? Anger? Love?
You know nothing, I hate to tell you. If you had known me, we would not have spent months avoiding each other, we would not have spent months ignoring what our hearts whispered to each other, you would not have spent months believing lies, you would not have believed those obvious blatant untruths, those hurtful, shameful lies.
Even when we have "patched" things up, we are still draped in lies and silence. Your eternal optismism, even that stupid fucking gap between your front teeth, brightens the darkness in my heart for a brief second, but it does not last long, for your silence is a more potent weapon.
What are you afraid of?
Are you afraid of love?
Are you afraid of me?
Are you afraid of what your heart already feels?
We both know the answer to that, Elijah.
We both know.
How many hobbits can we fit in a bed?
This ain't floating my boat!
Home, Jones!
