There are certain advantages to being invisible, to be able to come and go as you please without anyone knowing where you’re going. You’re spared the questions of why, when, where, you’re spared the accusations of thief and scoundrel. You’re spared their angry stares, for they do not address what they cannot see.

Meeting, working, and living with Dr. Henry Jekyll made him realize the disadvantages. One shy smile, one downward glance, one soft word, one pair of lovely lips, but Rodney dares not, and says nothing.
