1994 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja
Purchased: November, 2002 - $500
Sold: October, 2004 - $800
I bought this bike, as with my last baby Ninja, with the intention of taking it to the track. This EX, however, had already been partially prepped for racing, with sawed off foot pegs, clip-on handlebars, an EX500 rear shock, and a very cool adjustable rear suspension dog-bone modification. Unfortunately, the bike sat in my garage for almost two years before I even started putting it back together. I spent a lot more money getting it running right again than I had originally expected to, and by this time, my interest in racing had taken a back seat to my desire to tour, so I eventually decided to just sell it. Of course, it didn't help matters that I was run off the road by some punk kid in a Pontiac the very first time I took the bike out after completing its reassembly. Yeah, that was a little disheartening. Fun bike-- all EX250's are-- but it was just another unnecessary addition to my already excessive collection. |
