The Cane as a Weapon of Protection
The walking stick, or Cane has been used by many cultures throughout history. In the western culture not too long ago, the gentleman would go nowhere without his trusty walking stick.
In the eastern cultures, especially China, the cane was a practical tool, not only as an aid for walking, but for self-protection. Known to the Chinese as Ming Loong Guai (Fierce Dragon Cane), this weapon used principles and techniques from the Straight, Hook, and Broadsword, as well as the fighting staff.
The unique design of the hook cane allows joint locking immobilizations, and throws as well as impact strikes.
The Cane Pro program was developed by Martial Artist with over 80 years of combined experience in the Chinese and Philippine Fighting Arts as well as backgrounds in Military and Law Enforcement.
