Hi Sue, just to say that I have been thinking about the whole breeding issue. I've done lots of research into this now. I've read a few books I got from the library, and I took a look at a site which outlined some books to buy. I spoke to a few people and did some research on the web, and I've decided at this stage not to breed Camilla.
Now that I've made that decision, I feel really quite good. It's like a major weight has been lifted on my shoulders. I'm going to continue to show her though. It won't be long before she gets her championship. She's a lovely girl, and my best friend, and we are just going to enjoy each other's company for what we are - gorgeous single chicks! LOL.

well I'm glad you've made up your mind. It sounds like a super decision at this point in time. I support you 100%.
Now, we have the Rottie specialty show happening in three months, and I think you'll really enjoy it as a learning experience, and I think that Cammy will do very well also. Let's see if we can have a great time there, and forget all about our woes for a few days.
As you know we lost a couple of pups a few weeks ago due to fading puppy syndrome. That's very sad. Jeremy was hoping to get one of these to help with the re-build of his lines. That was the breeding we had been waiting three years to do.

Hey Sue - just to let you know, our entries are in for the National, and we're hoping for good things. Will see you there.
Cammy is looking great, and we're ready and rocking to go!

Final Note:

Well Gretel did attend the Rottie National with Camilla, and under a specialist judge she placed 2nd in her class. It was a great achievement. Gretel and Camilla enjoy their life together as "single women" and Gretel is improving greatly as a handler.
