We will start in the morning from Skopje. There is a 20 min drive to Matka where a large number of cultural monuments, and great natural treasure can be found. We can visit the Monastery of St. Andreja and the cave Vrelo. After Matka there is 30 min drive to the monastery of St. Panteleimon, founded in 12th century, with its very famous frescos. The monastery is located on the slopes of the mountain Vodno, in village Nerezi and offers a magnificent panoramic view to the town of Skopje. We can have a lunch brake here.
The afternoon is reserved for monasteries and churches in Skopje. The church of St. Spas (Holly Salvation) the most famous church in Skopje, with its marvellous wooden carved iconostasy.
