Visual Caffiene was created on July 24th 2004. Even though I was a member of dozens of online TCGs, this one was inspired mainly by
Vibra which is owned by Yuber Plushie. Vibra's a really great TCG and i suggest you check it out!
I debated over names forever, and eventually found one in the unlikliest of places. I was reading the Stephen King novel, Everything's Eventual. In one story he refers to a piece of art as visual caffeine. It really caught my attention and the name definately stuck.
Finally, the absolutely beautiful layout was created by the owner of
Symphony. When I told her I was starting a TCG she offered to make me a layout. I was super thankful because I was so busy working on all the card decks. I was browsing
we-love-anime at the time and when she asked me what picture I'd like in the layout I clicked on random titles to see if I could find anything interesting. I found this image in the Samurai Champloo section. It was really bad quality but Kite fixed it up really well! I love it and hopefully it'll be up for a while.
