Born in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1976, Vito A. Zaidani is one of three siblings; his older sister
was graduated from the University
of Toledo, Ohio, and his younger brother just
finished his B.A.at the University of Oklahoma
in Norman, Oklahoma. After
graduated from Texas A&M
University in College Station, Texas in
December of 1998, he was recruited by a furniture manufacturing company
named Vecta
in Grand Prairie, Texas, and he has been devoting his career there
ever since. He currently resides in Grand Prairie, Texas with his wife, Sri Hedalyani Wardiningsih.
Educational Background
Childhood up to high-school
years was spent in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. His college education didn't
start at Texas A&M University. He firstly attended ACC (Austin
Community College), and he had earned some credits before
transferring to a-4 year college. He finally chose Texas
A&M University among others since the Industrial and Systems
Engineering program offered was well known as one
of the best programs in the nation.
In 1998,
he spent his summer out of school to work on his internship
job in a semiconductor company called Amkor
Electronics, Inc. in Chandler, Arizona. Even though
it was only for 3 months, it gives him a real-life experience
in manufacturing and knowledge in semiconductor industry.
Job After Graduation
As mentioned above, he is
currently working in
a manufacturing company called in Vecta
in Grand Prairie, TX, in the Special Produng Engineering
Group as Product Specials Engineer. Grand Prairie
is located about 20 miles south of Dallas. The things he
love about working there is that he can apply the theory
and knowledge that he obtained from school to the job, especially
in manufacturing planning and allocation, ergonomics, motion
and time study, production / inventory management and design to manufactures of non standard Vecta products.
