OUTGOING PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
The year 2000 is nearing its end, and with it, I will mark the end of my
term as President of NVAH.
In retrospect, the last four years have been a real challenge, quite simulating. We had dreams and visions
for our hometowns, our home province and our "kailian" both here and in the Philippines. As focused and
determined as we all were in NVAH, we planned, raised funds, and soon got these envisioned projects off
the ground. Our excitement and surge of energy continued to escalate as we
saw to their progress and completion.
I share with you the much deeper feeling of REWARD and GRATIFICATION as we see these dreams and ideas finally
come to fruition, to realities. The book drive that reached various towns, the police precint in Bambang,
the Governor's playground project at the Capitol with many other minor assistance and aids extended
to our memberships.....All these have been very successful undertakings.
We owe these all to you: To the hardworking officers, board of directors, committee chairs, and many
volunteers, who selflessly gave their 100% best; to our sponsors and benefactors who, until now,
continue to generously support our causes through the years; and to all our families and friends,
without your help and encouragement, we would not have had the strength to accomplish our goals. Thank you
all so much!
However, like everything else, nothing is permanent. It is time for change. We all benefit from having
a change in leadership. It is our hope that all the good things we have started and accomplished will
be carried on and more so, we look forward to fresh eyes seeing new opportunities- exploring minds seeking
new directions to follow. Once again, excitement is starting to build up.
Let us toast....TO THE NEW NVAH BOARD, ITS OFFICERS AND MEMBERS, FOR CONTINUING SUCCESS AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!
God bless you all!

INCOMING PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Cooperation Keeps Work Simple
Most messages are not read by anyone,
except maybe one who is looking for something he or she can copy or relate to.
I am confident you will read this message, because you will want
to know what I intend to do for the next two years of my administration. I will discard the flowery
words and here are what I intend to do:
- I intend to work with you intelligently and productively.
- We need to understand one another, no miscommunication.
- If you like to help, expect to be helped.
- If you have something in mind, say it, We will respect it.
If you have read this far, I know I can work with you. You are fair and a
committed person. You are one or a group of dedicated persons who value your credebility. I know that you
support good programs, you desire to be consulted and be a part of the decission making process. So, be available.
You value actions that are goal achieving, not tension relieving. Therefore, we can work together for the good of
Nueva Vizcaya Association of Hawaii, its members and its supporters all around. We know no man is an island, let
us then put a part of our time, talent, and energy, understanding together and forge a common goal. Your succes
is my success and everyone's success. Let us work in the spirit of bayanihan and we shall succeed.
In six months period, let us evaluate our partnership. Every work must be
time bounded and don't fail to ask me, if I don't come to you first. Fair enough?
Let us keep going ahead, Vizcayano. Let us work for the common good. I thank all
Vizcayano supporters, you help us keep moving forward.

NUEVA VIZCAYA ASSOCIATION OF HAWAII
MESSAGE
Aloha,
On behalf of the officers and Board of Directors of Nueva Vizcaya Association
of Hawaii, warm greetings and welcome to all of you.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to each
and everyone of you. Your patronage and dedication make this special event
materialize into life. It has been a long awaited moment....all the participants
and planning just made everyone closer again.
Speaking of Simplicity, I would like to share a qoute with all of you, "Life
is too short to be caretaker of the wrong default." This is my way of
sharing with you my philosophy....to convey to you that the real meaning of
good intentions are often not expressed in grandiosity, but rather in small obscured
ways so people sometimes fail to notice.
Our event is far from perfect, but everything was put together with love
and dedication for people. So we hope that you will enjoy yourselves and be one
with us in our celebration. Please pardon whatever mishaps we may have.
From our families to yours, thank you for your support, and we hope to see you again
in our next function.
