Full Name: Kathryn (Kitty) Cooke

Desc: This girl is probably in her late teens, with a rugged, hard-working appearance about her. Her hair is medium length and plaited; a ruddy brown in colour, thick and curly and sticking out in all directions. Her eyes too are brown, with just the slightest tinge of blue that sometimes appears. Her skin is olive and she has small dimples and long, dark lashes surround her eyes. Despite the fact that she looks to be only 18 at the most, she holds a quiet dignity and pride about her most of the time; though there are others when she lets herself go laughing and smiling and acting more her age.

Elli's clothes are quite simple, though they fit to her well- a pale green dress hugs her frame, and a light blue cloak sits on her shoulders- depending on the weather.

Full Name: Kathryn (Kitty) Cooke

Desc: You see a young woman- she appears to be about 22 or 23, though the exact age couldn't be easily determined from her look, or her attire. She could be considered, by Bree standards, quite pretty. The eyes are large and green and often smiling, even when the face itself is not. The woman's skin is fair and flawless, her lips are soft, and a deep pink colour. Within her mouth are straight teeth, though they are off-white. When she smiles, her whole face brightens and when she laughs, there are crinkles around her eyes.

The woman's hair stops short at her shoulders. It is straight, almost black in hue, and uneven as if cut at home. To strengthen the argument of at-home-haircuts is the clothing the woman wears. Almost always cream or some shade of green, they are home-made, and often scattered with various patches of different colours. Although the garmets are well-sewn by someone with experience in fixing children's clothes, they are not professionally done, nor bought at any of the stores in town.

History: Kathryn Cooke is the second youngest child of Mary and Anthony Cooke. Her mother works in the Prancing Pony- cleaning and freshening up the rooms after visitors have slept there, and helping to keep things tidy. It is a long, tedious job, but it pays enough and she is good at it. Kitty's father works, when he can, as a carpenter. Several years ago, he fell from the roof of a house while reparing a hole, and damaged a shoulder, and a leg. In the colder months, he can barley get out of bed for the pain, and if he works too hard, he suffers terribly. Despite this, he does the best he can to provide for his family, who understand that, and don't think worse of him for the injuries. However, this means that the Cooke family are not particularly well off. Although Anthony owns a house within Bree-proper, they have lived through many cold and hungry winters. Kitty's three older brothers, and one older sister are all married now and live about Bree- some of them in Combe or Archet.

Her childhood was relatively normal and uneventful, although much of the love and attention of her family was spent on her eldest brother, and older sister, her parents taught them all well in manners, morals, and other things important to developing children. They were all well loved within the Cooke household, and the family was strong together. When she was quite young, Kitty's grandfather gave her an old, battered fiddle. Although it was out of tune, and missing some strings, it became apparent at a very early age that she had a knack for the instrument, so after saving up enough money, her parents had it fully repaired and restored, and now it sings magically.

It was noticed also at a young age that Kitty understood numbers- she was often seen playing shop games with her siblings, where stones would be their money, and she would add and subtract before she even knew the meanings of the words. Anthony soon convinced his sister to tutor Katherine in mathematics.

However... a few years ago, Kitty and her siblings went swiming at the local pond. At this stage, she still wasn't confident, and since it had been a hot summer, the water was only just deep enough, but as she reached the middle, she thought she could touch the bottom, and her feet were caught by thick mud and she began to panic- forgetting how to swim altogether. It was just in time that her two brothers jumped in and dragged her ashore but ever since then... well, you'll see when you meet her.

Despite this, due to her generous nature, she more often than not offers to do her friends' and associates' book keeping for them free of charge, to which her parents sigh and shake their heads.
