Hello. Welcome to "The Voice of Vincent" it's a play that I wrote for Creative Writing class. I only had the chance to hand in the first 15 pages but soon afterwards I managed to finish the rest on my own free time.

Originally I came up with the story last year and it was to be a comic but that never came to be since I needed an idea for a play. I am quite happy that I made it into a play, it was a lot of fun and I would look forward to writing it whenever I could. It is of course my very first play, and I didn't really know how to write plays, so please forgive me if it all looks very childish ^^;;.

The Voice of Vincent takes place in the 1800s and is the story of a girl named Elizabeth Hetherington who is very very shy and quiet and rarely leaves her room. One night she hears a voice coming up from the vent leading to the basement were her scientist father works. Only it isn't her fathers voice but that of a young man named Vincent. Meanwhile, her fathers client Hugh Calvary has invited the family over to dinner. Elizabeth soon meets Hugh's daughter Lilia who is a girl that is extremely far from normal, which is apparent from the instant we meet her.
