You are invited to join the
An informal group of singers. We
meet every Thursday evening during termtime in the Peterhouse Music Room (ask for
directions at the Porters' Lodge).
Starting time – 6.30pm. All
welcome.
Unaccompanied singing. Folk
song, protest songs, world-music songs, even an unorthodox carol or two at Christmas
time.
You bring a song, we'll sing it!
You don't have to be a brilliant singer to join us. And you don’t need to be
able to read music.
Current songs that we're working
on include "The Manchester Rambler", "Success to the
Farmer", the Chartist song "We are So Low". and some of the
songs from the show “Oh What a Lovely War!”.
