THE LAST BUS I always take the third bus, albeit am an early bird For I believe strongly, the early bird catches the worm The tardiness by others to get ready to go Makes me think that early worm gets caught.
Somehow I take the third sure would prefer the first Still get so restless cant stand delays anymore Today took the fourth bus, and was so upset Words cannot express, but happy to get in, in time.
You may wonder why this anxiety to get into bus Are there not any more buses, or other ways of travel You may suggest a car instead, much more comfy Much more private, right on time every time.
'tis not an ordinary bus, 'tis the Mass of Our Lord Plying every day for us, now you must have got me.
I make it a point not to miss, for He calls me unfailingly I work on every week day, so am sure of taking Sunday bus In every trip, totaling four, the bus is mostly empty May be 'coz it is SUNDAY, or is "NOT OBLIGATORY" .
I cant believe this nor do I subscribe Have you missed - to breath or to clothe? He is the breathe, He is the Soul He is the cloth, to cover our sins He is the King, He is the Son He transcends us, from here to eternity.
Take the opportunity to go by the bus Treat it as a vacation spare a few minutes Feel Him in the acts, taste Him in the songs Cry out for His sufferings, experience His blessings.
Sing his praises, loud and clear Fill you heart, with mirth and cheer Exchange Peace, with near and dear Pray that it be so, forever and ever. Thank him for the mercy, thank him for the graces Thank him for everything, for wishes asked and unasked. 7/1/01 |
