| In February 1998, Vulcan's Forge announced a Call For Art asking members to submit work for a set of post cards that would be made for sale. 10 works would be chosen, and the artists of the chosen pieces would receive a total of $150 for the use of their work, while still retaining all rights to it. A three person panel of outside artists were asked to select the works. In May, the jurying process took place. The 10 pieces were selected and made into post cards. An 11th card was designed with small images of the 10 on the front and an explanation of the group on the back. The package of 11 cards sells for $5. We still have some packages left and are offering them for sale. All proceeds go to our General Art Fund, and are put back into use for the group and individual artist grants. This project was made possible through the generous grant awarded to us by the Ohio Department of Mental Health.
