Glaciers form when snow remains in one location long enough to change into ice,they also have steep cliffes.Presentely,glaciers take up about ten percent of the worlds total land area.,with most located in Polar Regions like Antartica and greenland. Glaciers can be thought as remnants from the last Ice age.when ice covered nearly thertytwo percent of the land.and therty percent of the oceans.      glaciers are also interesting because abought 14,000 years ago canada was ice free. Also the first humans are believed to have arived in Rodeisland abought tenthousand - twelve thousand years ago. These people undought fully spent most of there time near rivers and streams .
