Q:  I've just joined.  What do I do?
A:  The first step is to create your character.  Head back to the main page, and follow the directions posted there.  If you have any questions, neomail the Director.

Q:  Can I join the Council?
A:  A new council is chosen for every War Round, so please apply again when the next War Round starts.

Q:  What happens if my character dies?
A:  If you are a made-up character, it is up to you to decide if your character would become a ghost.  If s/he would, you may haunt your deathsight as a ghost.  If s/he would not, and the round is not far along, you may begin a new character, or, if the round is far along, you may wait for the next round to begin.  If this is the case, please see the Director if you would like to play as a Guild Aid.

Q:  Is there a limit to the number of members in this guild?
A:  I am thinking there will be a limit of some kind, because if we're swarming with members, it will become too difficult and confusing.  However, we will allow as many as possible to join.  At the moment, there is no limit.

Q:  If my character is or has become a werewolf, do I control it during full-moons?

A:  No, you do not.  Werewolves are always controlled by the Director or Aides.  The only exception is if the werewolf has taken wolfsbane potion correctly.

Q:  What are Guild Aids?
A:  Guild Aids are members who do not have characters, but who still actively participate in guild events.  Aids may roleplay as any character or object that is not controlled by a member.  They can edit the Guild Website, Layout, and Forum.  They watch and moniter the activity of the members.  Basically, Guild Aids are simply Aids to the Director, doing almost everything the Director does.  They may also have a specific job, such as running Quidditch Matches, etc.

Q:  Where do I see my character information, my inventory, and my money?
A:  All this information is posted on the forum.  Under Information is the topic Characters.  Find the name of your character and your username, and that thread will contain all of that information.

Q:  How does my character learn spells?
A:  See the information listed under Subjects and Spells in the Information area.

Q:  Can a student character have special abilities (such as being an animagus)?
A:  No, not directly.  They may be in training for such an ability, but they will likely not start out with it.
