Exercises for First year Students

These excercises will be listed by the month, and as per our calendar we will start in October, if you have started your year and a day in another month just use the october exercises and work all twelve months.

Month 1 October Welcome to the Craft! This month we will focus on your mental ability's and start working the basics. Week 1:  What is a Witch? I want you to start writing a letter to me. First tell me what you think a Witch is and What has brought you to this stage in your life. Next, do some research here. Look into the words, Witch, Witchcraft, Wicca, and Pagan  You'll be suprised at the answers you find! Now you have done the brain work here is some study material; A Witches power somes from three main sources Personal, Earth, and Divine. Personal Power is the life force that sustains our earthly existence. Earth Power is that which resides within our planet and it's natural resources and Divine Power is the energy that exists within the Goddess and God.  We draw power from all three sources.  Why is it important to keep a balance between all three Power sources? That's the Homework Essay time, and of course this goes in your BOS!

Why is their a Period of a year and a day ? This time is used for study, you should take time to learn everything that you can about this religion before you make a commitment to it. This period is also a time of growth.  This is also a way of showing that you are dedicated and really want to build your faith and realationship with Divinity.  This is a time for you to find out who you really are and to tear down the walls that you may have previously put around yourself.  It is also a time to dispell any myths  that you may have about the  Pagan Religions.

Now I also want you to reveiw our Thirteen Principals of Beliefs. You can find them on this site. Take some time and make sure you understand them. Make a liist of the ones that you don't and why and those that you really feel you believe in too, and why. These are the laws that we live by and our religious ideals. This is our structure, so to speak and our foundation. Read them carefully
