SPELLCASTING

Well we have covered the basic of spells.  Now if you feel the need to get complex here's how you do it. I am writing this as an outline so you can adapt it to your own spells.

Here's what you need to do before you begin What is the Spell for? What type of Spell? Who is your patron God/ Goddess? What diety affects your specific Spell? Do you want to call the Quarters? Do you want to invoke pantheons (different Gods and Goddesses?) What colors represent this spell? What type of candle best suits your needs? (SOMETHING THAT BURNS FIVE MINUTES OR FIVE HOURS) What herbs will you use? Do you want to burn powered, stick or cone incense? What day and hour are best suited to the desired results? Okay now that you have answered these questions lets proceed Get an index card or record this in your BOS (Spell Name) (Date and Time to perform spell) Ingredients Cast your Circle Light your candles and incense Call the Quarters Invoke the Elements and Elementals Invoke the Lady and Lord Invoke any Specific Deity's and Pantheons Perform the desired spell Dismiss the Lady and Lord with thanks Dismiss any other Pantheons with thanks' Dismiss the Elements and Elementals Dismiss the Quarters Allow your candles and incense to burn out on their own Take your Circle Down and Ground yourself That's it! Now if you are wondering how to create your own spells instead of using those that are out there, it is simple. Think of a Desired Need and build on it. Find the elements the help with that need and put them together. There isn't any specific wording or motions that have to be used. What you have to keep in mind that the most heartfelt prayer gets the most dramatic answer. So if you need it you can't  go wrong. Be creative and do what feels right. As you work with spellcasting you will know what works best and in the timeframe that you need.  Don't make this hard.  And learn to use what works for you. If you feel the need to chant I use this simple chant to help build power. Turning the Wheel, Building the Power, Weave this spell, at this hour! Keep chanting until you feel you have built the necessary energy and are ready.  Remember this is about you and the Goddess, there is no right or wrong way! Have fun! In the next pages I am going to include some spells that I have written and some that have been published. There are some published on the net as well so you shouldn't have any problems finding spells. And you can take what you like out of the spells and change them to suit your needs. Nothing is set in stone here.  Be who you are and do what is right for you.
