Can Man Live Without God by Ravi Zacharias: Dallas: Word Publishing, 1994, 219 pages

For any serious student of Christianity in our modern culture, this book should occupy a prominent place in one's library. Very seldom do we find such a brilliant outline of the relevance of the gospel for these most difficult days. The book has been around for a few years, but is as up to date as today's newspaper. You get the feeling when reading these pages that you are glad he is on your side. To Zacharias, to live apart from God makes life meaningless. He presents his arguments in such logical and orderly fashion that objections are few and with no real substance. At the same time, you can feel a sense of love pouring forth, that convinces one this is no mere intellectual but a man with the love of Jesus Christ foremost in his life. He writes with depth and scholarship, yet has that rare ability to keep his arguments to a level that most layman and ordinary folks searching for meaning can understand. I would encourage one and all to make this must reading.
