SCHOOL HORSES

Our school horses are great!(Aren't all school horses great?)

They come in short and tall, big and small, young and old, quiet and bold.

STARDUST:   30 year old Dusty is in a league of his own.  A 13.2 hand Pony of the Americas, he can do absolutely everything.  He's a great babysitter for new or timid riders, but can really strut his stuff when ridden by someone more experienced.  He goes English and Western and is also trained to drive.  He is an awesome games pony (he does PPG,mounted games, and western games), went to the Trillium Dressage Championships in 2000, has competed successfully in Trillium Hunter/Jumper, and loves to Event.  He's always sound and reliable.  The only thing he's not so good at is hacking.  He's not spooky or anything, he just doesn't like to do it.  He spends the whole time trying to turn around and go home.  You'd think he'd be glad to get off the farm and see the sights!

WINDSONG:  18 year old Winnie is one of our homebred ponies.  She has been with us her whole life, and when she was 5, we gave her to our daughter for Christmas.  Bethany outgrew her a few years ago, so Winnie is back in the school again.  Windsong is one of those extra special,once-in-a-lifetime ponies.  Only 12.1 hands, she has a huge heart, and takes her job (whatever it happens to be at the time)very seriously.  She is impossible to keep in a field, and will easily jump a 4'6" fence to see what's on the other side.  She is just as bold jumping with a rider, and has popped many an unsuspecting rider out of the tack!  One of our best games ponies, Winnie has been known to finish a race alone when her rider was too slow for her liking!  Even though her motto is "Faster, Higher", she is a wonderful babysitter, carefully and quietly carrying a 4 year old beginner rider.
