Forcing a laugh while you're crying inside, Living by rules which you just can't abide. While all around are seeing brighter hues You can't help but notice all of the blues. Warmth surrounds from the flames passion delivers Yet you huddle alone playing host to shivers. You see so many friends pouring out of the cracks Of a fragile heart and the love that it lacks. The universe is blind since it fails to realize What reality is when seen through your eyes. And as you stare at a busted reflection, The sight of pain ceases upon further inspection. You still have a love buried deep in your heart.. Never! Oh, never can life tear that apart. |
