THE RULES
What is a 3-Gun Match?

A 3-Gun match is a chance to use rifles, pistols, and shotguns in a contest of speed and accuracy.
At the Walnut Grove Gun Club 3-Gun Matches there are usually 4 stages or scenarios which require the shooter to use from one to all three guns in a single stage.
The match winner is the shooter with the best score in the least time.

Registration for shooters in the matches begins at
9:00 am and the shooting begins at 10:00 am.
The Entry Fees are $10.00, except for special events.

Matches will be held in all weather assuming it is safe enough to shoot and there are enough participants.

Spectators are welcome!  Bring a Friend!

The next 3-Gun Match scheduled will be on Saturday,
27 June 2009.  Registration begins at 9:00 am.

The Walnut Grove 3-Gun Matches are monthly, on the last Saturday of each month, and the September 2008 Match marks the 6th Anniversary of the Walnut Grove 3-Gun Matches.

The 2009 Walnut Grove 3-Gun Matches will be held on the following dates:  27 June, 25 July, 29 August, 26 September, 31 October, 28 November, and 26 December.

Please, no speed-rig holsters!

Trophy plaques are given to the top three shooters in each match.

The Walnut Grove Gun Club range is located at the end of Carmel Lane, Bostic, Rutherford County, North Carolina, and is only open to the public on match dates.  In addition to 3-Gun matches, SASS Cowboy Action Shooting matches are held on the first Saturday of each month.
