Erin's Rome Journals 4-26-02 This was meant to be our travel day, leaving Rome for the south of Italy to catch a boat over to Greece. However, we were both exhausted and had not made our travel investigations, so we decided on taking an 'administrative' day, and stayed on in Rome for another day. Glenn took care of getting a handle on the train options going south and checking for some mail we were waiting for (not there), while I went to the internet cafe and edited our photos of Rome. We'd gotten behind in journal writing due to the frenetic pace and company we kept while there, so I only worked on pictures and making sure Florence was as up to date as possible, which took most of the day anyway. We had a lazy evening at the hostel, only going across the street to find a cafe for dinner, and getting an early night for our train ride the next day. |
We were honest with each other about being tired! |
